Posted by the shows respective talents on twitter, and now starting to get covered by blogs everywhere, the word is out that Revision3 is cutting back on some very popular shows. My personal favorite “Internet Superstar” being one of them.

Truemores.com reports that heavy hitters such as “Epic Fu” and “Wine Library” are now without distribution deals, while other well-liked shows such as “Pixel Perfect” and “Pop Siren” have been canceled altogether.

If there is one really smart executive left in any of the broadcast media companies, he/she should sign these shows up quickly. It doesn’t take a genius to see how easily any of these shows or the creators behind them could fit in very well with the same kind of risk-taking programming that is currently bringing us “Mad Men,” “Heroes,” or the “Deadliest Catch.”

Once again, thanks Wall Street for screwing the economy and making us all suffer.
